President Bola Tinubu met with a high-powered group of global investors in Paris, France, on the first stop of his three-nation trip, making the case for Nigeria as a prime investment destination while defending the pace and depth of his administration’s economic reforms.

The meeting drew some of the world’s most significant institutional money managers including Citibank, Amundi, BlueCrest, Ninety One, Kirkoswald Capital, Principal Finisterre, PGIM, and Mesarete Capital.

Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele led with the headline number — Nigeria recorded 11.2% GDP growth in dollar terms in 2025 — one of its strongest performances in recent memory and a figure the government believes positions Nigeria credibly on its path to a $1 trillion economy by 2030.
