The Nigerian Senate has expressed serious concern over reports indicating that 178,457 firearms, including 88,078 AK-47 rifles and 3,900 assorted rifles and pistols, are missing or unaccounted for in official records.

Lawmakers warned that the disappearance of such a large number of weapons could further worsen Nigeria’s security crisis if they have fallen into the hands of terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, or other criminal groups operating across the country.

The concern was raised during a review of audit reports, where senators questioned security authorities over the whereabouts of the missing arms and demanded immediate explanations.

Members of the Senate stressed the urgent need for a comprehensive investigation to trace and recover the weapons, describing the situation as a major threat to national security.

The question here is who are those behind the disappearence of Arms from a supposed most secured place in Nigeria if not the same Fulani T3rrorists Officers hiding amongst the Nigerian Military?
