Cooking Gas Price Jumps Up To N2000
Nigeria’s cooking gas marketers have warned that prices hitting N1,700 – N2, 000 per kilogram depending on your area could trigger public revolt against filling station operators. NALPGAM President Edu Inyang said millions of households and small businesses can no longer afford the product.
He blamed supply shortages and logistics bottlenecks for the crisis, warning that households are reverting to firewood. NALPGAM is urging the FG and NNPC to intervene immediately or risk worsening food inflation and damaging Nigeria’s clean energy progress.
