BREAKING: President Tinubu Declared APC Presidential Candidate for 2027 Election With 10, 999,162 Votes

By Daniel Ailemen. Following the May 23, 2026 presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted across the 36 states and the FCT, President Bola Tinubu has been declared the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

The APC Presidential Primary Election Committee announced the result after the nationwide collation of votes. President Tinubu polled 10,999,162 votes, defeating his closest and only challenger, Stanley Osifo, who secured 16,503 votes.
