Fubara will resume, I will not impose commissioners, could’ve extended stalemate – Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has boosted that if he wanted to call for the extension of the emergence rule he would have but for peace to rain.
Wike conformed Governor Sim Fubara’s readiness to return to Rivers State following suspension of the six-month emergency rule and he, Wike will not impose commissioners on Fubara this time around.
In March, President Bola Tinubu suspended Fubara, his deputy, Mrs Ngozi Odu and the state House of Assembly following a protracted political crisis between the governor and his predecessor.
Fubara was not in the country when President Tinubu suspended the emergency rule on Wednesday.
