Dangote Proud Of Three Daughters Holding Key Positions
Aliko Dangote once said that even if he had a son, he does not think that son would have done better than his three daughters.
His three daughters are already helping grow the family business. Their goal is to help grow their father’s fortune to $100 billion by 2030.
Halima, the second daughter, has worked in business for 13 years, including at KPMG. She helped fix and sell Dangote Flour Mills. Today, she leads the family office and the company’s Dubai and London offices.
Fatima, the third daughter, is a lawyer who handles oil, gas, and fertilizer deals.
Marina, the eldest, works on cement and food sales and sits on the Cement board.
All three spent more than 10 years working their way into these top positions.
They do not need to show off their money. Halima says, “Numbers don’t lie.” They let their sales and profits speak for them.
Now, the sisters have a clear target: Take the Dangote Group from about $31–$60 billion to $100 billion by 2030.
