Defence Minister Christopher Musa Orders Defence Minister has ordered all security and intelligence agenciesecurity Agencies to Stop Working Alone After Fresh Killings in Borno

Nigeria’s Defence Minister has ordered all security and intelligence agencies to stop working separately and start sharing information properly.

He said the days of “every agency doing their own thing” must end, because it is making it harder to stop terrorism and attacks across the country.

This new order is coming after the fresh deadly attack in Borno State, where terrorists invaded military positions and a Brigadier General was killed alongside other soldiers during a night operation.

Security sources say the attackers struck multiple locations before reaching the military base, showing clear gaps in intelligence sharing between agencies.

The Defence Minister said if intelligence had been properly shared, such attacks could have been reduced or even stopped.

He also stressed that all security agencies must now work together like one team — Army, DSS, Police, Air Force, and intelligence units.
