Great Nigeria Insurance Building For Demolished – Oyekan

According to Hon. Prince Taiwo Ajibade Oyekan, the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island Local Government.
To bring the demolition action plan in motion, Hon. Prince Oyekan held a Stakeholders’ meeting with Market Men & Women and Traders ahead of Planned Controlled Demolition of the Great Nigeria Insurance Building gutted by fire.
Oyekan assured them of safety and urged the Business owners to exercise patience while the process of demolition and evacuation of debris are completed.
He expresses his feeling of the pains the affected traders are going through which resulted in the lost of lives but assured them that safety comes first now after the building was gutted with fire.
” I am determined to ensure a secure Lagos Island !”, he added.
