FCCPC Urges Nigerians To Report Harassment By Loan Apps, Businesses
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has called on Nigerians to immediately report loan apps and businesses that harass or intimidate them over unpaid loans.
The Commission emphasized that while repayment of loans is expected, no consumer should be subjected to threats, bullying, or any form of harassment. “No consumer should live in fear,” the FCCPC stated.
It assured the public that it is committed to protecting consumer rights and will take strict action against violators who resort to unethical debt recovery practices.
